Story
A 21st Birthday is such a special occasion for any family, a time to get together and celebrate. It’s almost 3 years since Tom left us and we miss him more every day, time is no healer… Ian and I so wanted to mark the occasion of his 21st and have decided to do 21000 steps every day for 21 days starting on 30th August and will finish on 19th September which will mark another very significant date for us, our family and friends. We both feel this is a fitting tribute for Tom and we know he will be with us all the way. Please like, share, donate or join us on the challenge… your support means so very much.
With grateful thanks, Vicki and Ian
This Fund has been set up to celebrate the memory of a young student Tom Jonah Jones from Bromsgrove who died in a tragic accident in the River Severn in September 2018. Tom was just 18 and in the first week of starting a teaching degree course at the University of Worcester.Tom was an immensely popular young man, with a huge love of sport and life; he had everything before him and his wide circle of family and friends were devastated by his sudden and unexplained loss.Partnering with Worcester Community Foundation, this Fund is about celebrating Tom's life and at the same time raising funds for the causes that he was passionate about. For this reason, all funds raised will go towards supporting sports-related groups and projects across Worcestershire; we aim to raise funds to provide opportunities for children and young adults through working closely with schools, colleges, universities and local sports groups.
