Our “Old Bean” won’t want a fuss making so while he’s quietly getting on with chemo for the next few months; we thought we’d do something to raise money for WMUK. This is the only UK charity focused solely on Waldenstrom’s macroglobulinaemia (WM), a rare type of blood cancer - see below for more about what they do.  

We three sisters (Vicki, Jenni & Rachel) will be taking part in the 2021 Virtual London Marathon and bringing it to the streets of Monton, Walkden, Worsley and Boothstown. It is our first ever attempt to run a marathon but are taking inspiration from Dad, who was a big runner (see the awesome photo of him doing Berlin in 1984!) 

As we are finding out - 26.2 miles is one hell of a distance to run....every penny or pound you donate will be a huge support.
