Story
Isabelle & Harrison were born 15 weeks early in January 2017. Due to the extreme prematurity of the twins they couldn't be delivered locally to home so we were transferred to Jessops at Sheffield for delivery and care. The following weeks/months were critical as the twins fought for their lives. Devastatingly Harrison lost his fight after 9 weeks.
We spent 17 weeks at Jessops before Isabelle was well enough to be transferred back to our local hospital. The care and treatment that the twins and us received was exceptional and we are and will be forever grateful for this and the support Dan and I received as new parents.
We didn't take part in Jessops Superheroes 2017 as Isabelle had only been home 2 weeks and wasn't quite well enough for the big wide world! But we will be there in full force this year and will be taking part alongside so many other amazing babies, their parents and not forgetting the incredible staff at Jessops.
If you can please spare a few coins to help us to raise money to support this amazing unit and the fabulous work they do we would be very grateful. For the 17 weeks Isabelle was at Jessops Dan and I were able to live in a parent room on the unit or in a flat in walking distance. Without the support of charitable funds this would not have been possible.
