Great North Run 2022
Campaign by National Trust (RCN 205846)
The world's biggest half marathon returns to its iconic city to sea course, starting in Newcastle and finishing next to the National Trust's own Souter Lighthouse. Run for nature, run for history, run for the places you love with the National Trust.

Story

I am raising money to support the National Trust's work for wildlife on the Lizard Peninsula in south Cornwall. The Lizard hosts an incredible diversity of rare and unusual wildlife, some of which is found nowhere else in the UK.

Having lived on the Lizard for the past 25 years, it is a place very close to my heart. My family grew up in Cornwall and my children spent their childhood discovering the wildlife, exploring and enjoying the coast.

The National Trust works across the Lizard Peninsula to ensure the wildlife is protected and conserved and that people are able to get close to and enjoy it.  Without this, the Lizard would be a very different place.

I'm keen to give something back and help ensure the rare and special wildlife is looked after for future generations.

Please dig deep and join me in supporting the National Trust.
