On 15th September 2006 40 Viacom Outdoor staff will be taking part in the Metro Life Hike.
It is an overnight walk that covers 17 miles following the route of the Circle line and walkers are raising funds for Maggie's Cancer Care Centres - a new centre is to be built at Charing Cross Hospital - the first centre in London.
The Maggie's Centre will offer support for all people affected by cancer at any stage, be they patients, family members or friends. Maggie's Centre Charing Cross has been conceived to contrast with the main hospital building. It will be a 'non-institutional' building, an 'open house', aimed at providing flexible and adaptable support in a supportive and homely environment.
Viacom Outdoor are support partners for this as it is a great cause and well worth supporting.
