Victoria's Bupa London 10k Fundraising Page

BUPA London 10,000 2011 · 30 May 2011 ·
Hello everyone - thanks for taking the time to visit my page!
As you've probably realised, on 30th May I'm going to run the Bupa London 10k on behalf of Amnesty International, to try to help raise awareness for the hundreds of vital campaigns and actions they undertake in the continuing effort to secure universal human rights across the globe. This year is also Amnesty's 50th birthday(!) and their tireless work is something that should be celebrated and championed - it's often quite easy to forget how lucky we are to be living in a democratic country, particularly at the moment in the midst of such revolutionary events.
So, please help me in supporting their work by sponsoring my taking part in the Bupa London 10k. No matter how small, every donation is sincerely appreciated and it all makes a difference to Amnesty International's hugely important work. Let's make sure that in the future everyone has their human right to life and liberty.
Update:
Again, as you may have already heard, I have suffered a slight setback in that, a month or so ago, I developed a hairline fracture to my right foot (although it sounds worse than it is!) It does mean that running has become a little more difficult, but don't worry - with a month and a half to go, the race is still on and I'm determined to do it without limping round the route...!
