Event: Turf Sleepout 2019, on 15 November 2019
Burnley FC in the Community (BFCitC) is urging fans and business leaders from across the region to commit to sleeping out in the Turf Moor stadium for one night as part of the charity's Turf Sleepout fundraising event.

Story

VEKA UK is well known for supporting registered local charities, causes and community projects across the region. It’s a significant part of our ethos and one that we are very proud of.

In an effort to continue our support of local charities, a team of ten people from across all areas of the business will be facing the cold November night together as part of the annual Turf Sleepout on Friday 15th November. Giving up the comfort of their own bed for the night to raise money for Burnley FC in the Community (charity number: 1155856), homelessness charity Emmaus (charity number: 1064470) and SafeNet Domestic Abuse Service for Janes Place Womens Refuge (charity number: 1091544).

Our target is to raise £2500 and all money raised will be split equally between the three charities. The ten VEKA UK employees taking part are Gemma Haythornwhite, Dawn Stockell, Gabriela Hammond, Colette Hunter, Vicky Giles, Charlotte Hulme, Caroline Howles, Helen Bailey, Louise Scholey and Lindsey Williams.

We thank you for any donations to help us all raise money for these great causes!
