For Vascular Disease Awareness month, we held in house training sessions, virtual lectures and had vascular quizzes for staff with prizes! As well as members of our amazing vascular team taking on a Mount Everest cycle challenge, each taking it in turns to cycle the height of Everest collectively, all 8849m of it!

This was staged in the atrium of GRH meaning that staff and visitors got to help cheer on the team, watch them sweat and suffer and  help raise funds towards the vascular department!

But the fundraising hasn’t stopped there! We are still a way off from our target and therefore would love it if people would still consider making a kind donation towards this great cause.
