Story

On Saturday 26th September a unique swimming contest will take place in Nottingham:

Van Hoogstraten vs Adlington

Rebecca Adlington has won two gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, as well as two bronze medals at the 2009 World Championships in Rome, gold and silver at the 2008 World Championships in Manchester and silver at the 2006 European Championships in Budapest.

Arthur Van Hoogstraten won a bronze medal at the 1974 International Swim Meet in Bückeburg, Germany, before concentrating on a career in waterpolo, and more recently, football.

They will battle it out over 200m freestyle. Eight lenghts in a 25m pool. Normally that's a walk in the park. Not so if you're up against Britain's fastest woman in a swimsuit.
