Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Well its all over! I finished and I feel fantastic - My time was much slower than predicted, however lots of people were dissapointed with their times. The weather was unkind. All training done in cold weather and the biggest race of the year in 20 degrees. I'm rather sunburnt. My body didn't let me down it was my desire to live and see another day that made me decide that finishing and feeling good was better than being ill or not finishing as in many cases. People were dropping like flies. This was the hardest sporting challenge I have set myself however I don't intend to stop here 4:55 was just not good enough 4:15 next time!
Thanks to all of you that sponsored me or made a donation. If you were waiting to see me finish you can still donate. It doesn't look as if I will meet my fundraising target but I have raised a nice amount.
One in three of us knows ,or will know someone with MS. A member of my family was diagnosed this year. The MS Society has provided valuable information and links to local support . Research currently being undertaken is positive. The future for someone diagnosed with MS is uncertain as each person has an individual journey. I want to help sufferers to have the confidence to lead their lives to the full and to support them and their families in the uncertain days ahead

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Multiple Sclerosis Society of Great Britain & Northern Ireland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation. You can use the comment fields to advertise your business, give me some tips or just as it suggests to comment!
So please sponsor me now! Thanks in anticipation. Vanessa
