Well here we are after the event and I thought you would like an update on how we all did.  the good news is that everyone achieved their Distance, Emily and Claire completed the 5K in 45 minutes; Julie finished the 10k in 1 hr 12 minutes and I finished the 10k in 1 hr 17 minutes.  It was a glorious sunny day and truly inspirational with nearly 3000 runners taking part, and nearly 200k raised.  We had a fantastic team of supporters who acted as drivers, pack horses and generally cheered us on our way.  George provided an superb BBQ which provided a great recovery pick me up.
