We help children with Down Syndrome to realise their full potential

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This May I'm running the Bristol10K to raise money for Bristol Down Syndrome Trust. -As an infrequent runner who feels like collapsing after 5K, this is going to be tricky!

Importantly, the trust contracts professionals to deliver fortnightly speech & language therapy to the children involved. The charity covers the cost of hall hire and subsidies these sessions making them an affordable option to families. Additionally the network provides families with an opportunity to share their experiences and provide support for one another.

This charity only exists thanks to the foresight and relentless commitment of Marie-Louise Cook, Annabel Dixey and their partners, who created the organisation while their own sons were young.

I'd like to raise awareness and funds for this important charity! Can you help?
