Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Now in its ninth year and as part of the Keep it Up Campaign we will be cycling just under 300 miles (!) through France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Yorkshire arriving at the John Smiths Stadium in time to watch Huddersfield Town play Arsenal for their last match of the season. We are attempting to do this in three and a half days and the money raised by KIU is split between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, the Town Foundation, the Hollybank Trust and the Forget Me Not children's hospice.
The YAA is a hugely important charity, relying on the goodwill and cash of the general public to keep flying and provide life saving services across the county. The other charities are all involved in helping children and young people in the Yorkshire area and are outstanding causes in their own right.
Please support us with as much or a little as you can. Cycling such a distance is a huge personal challenge and the messages of support on this page will act as a real encouragement at the inevitable low points (most likely at the bottom of additional unexpected climbs!), and will keep us going until the adrenalin kicks in as we approach the stadium in Huddersfield (which is a double challenge given that one of us is a Hull City fan and needs to don the blue & white!).
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Huge thanks for all support
