So you've visited....your wallet/purse is on the table and now we have to convince you to part with some hard-earned cash!!  Let's start...cue violins...

Ok, the honest bit, so last year Vanessa lived off a £1 a day for five days to raise money...with the added incentive of losing weight. Debbie ran the Race for Life also with the added incentive of losing weight.  See a pattern? So, this year we considered a sky-dive, but thought the only way we would lose weight by doing that may not have been a pleasant experience for the instructor. So, up comes this challenge of walking a 100k a guarantee to lose weight and that extra incentive of raising money to help find a cure for a disease that both our Dad's suffer from.

The deal is that we have to walk 100k non-stop starting on Saturday 14 September in Putney and hopefully finishing in Henley sometime on Sunday 15 September!  For those of you who know us best we would like to assure you this is NOT a pub crawl...although wine may find its way into our rucksacks somehow...

On a more serious note Parkinson's is a dibilitating disease that sadly there is currently no cure for.  Both of us have seen first hand how much it impacts on the sufferers daily life and we want to do our part to make an impact, however small.  Please help us to reach our target (and lose some flab!) by donating whatever you can to this worthy charity.

Since making this page Vanessa's beloved Dad has sadly passed away. He was so supportive of this challenge and Vanessa will now be walking in memory of him. Please dig deep as this walk will now be even more emotional for Vanessa when she passes the finish line and she really wants to make him proud xxx
