Story

Hi i am a member of The Achy Breaky Bears !!!

We are The Achy Breaky Bears a group of not so elite athletes and generally bad blokes and women from Northampton who will be tackling a number of challenges that will push us to our limits !!!

For the past 12 months we have been in training for various events around the UK and this year we will be pushing oureselves to the limits as a number of us will be entering all of the UK Tough Mudder events (8) and some around Europe too as well as other events like Pain & Suffering, Spartan Race, Mud Sweat and Beers, Chase the Yeti, Sole Destroyer  and anything else that we see that will cause us a lot of pain !!!

We train very hard for these events and some of our training includes swimming in frozen lakes, assault courses in the snow, training, running and excercising with gas masks on amongst other things so we are definately earning the money that you donate !!!

Tough Mudder events are hardcore 10-12 mile obstacle courses designed by British Special Forces to test your all round strength, stamina, mental grit and camaraderie. Information and videos on the event may be found here www.toughmudder.co.uk

We will be completing the course to raise money for GOSH as the son of team captain Mark Pittam has been under their care over the past 3 years and Great Ormond Street are doing an amazing job so if people can dig as deep as possible that would be amazing even if its only £1 it all helps towards this great cause !!!

If you would like to join The Achy Breaky Bears on any of their adventures at all then pls just get in touch and ask !!!

Thanks for donating and Hoorah !!!
