Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2025 it will cost £5,603,094 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £15,351 per day.

Story

THANK YOU FOR SPONSORING ME, pleased and relieved to say I finished the walk and RAISED £145.

Thanks for looking.  The 1st photo shows me after my accident on the first day of the holiday in the Dominican Republic that was supposed to help my recovery after  treatment for breast cancer!  I have had various operations since on my leg and boob, and thankfully also enjoyed some better holidays.   I would like to raise some money for Wrexham's Nightingale House Hospice and a 10 mile walk is just what I need now to provide me with a new challenge. Nowadays, ten miles is quite a stretching target for me so therefore I am in training for it. Glyn's stepdaughter Sara Carthy will be walking with me in memory of her mum who was looked after at Nightingale House.  So please spur me on in my training schedule and donate now, any amount will be gratefully received. Thank you, love Val xxx
