Story
I am taking part in the DoItForCharity 5km Santa Run on Sunday 4th December 2011, raising funds for Adoption UK.
As you may, or may not, know Adoption UK is a great charity close to our hearts. The charity supported us throughout the adoption process and has continued to provide help and information, via their website – www.adoptionuk.co.uk This specialist support is not always available through their local authorities, so please help by donating even the smallest amount.
£2 can provide adoptive parents with information leaflets on specialist topics;£10 will allow an adoptive family access support and information via a dedicated helpline;
£45 can provide an adoptive parent with an individual support session, and £100 (my target!) will enable adoptive parents to attend a specialist training course.
