Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

Our fabulous Mum Agnes Timlin sadly passed away 10 years ago this year . Mum had early onset Dementia before suffering a massive stroke . Anyone  who had the pleasure of knowing Mum would describe her as a lovely kind lady always welcoming and willing to lend a hand . My husband Barry’s Mum and Dad Keith and Sibell Carter also suffered with Dementia so as a family we are only too aware of the devastating impact this illness has both on the family member and siblings. My sisters and I along with several nieces are taking part in the South Devon Coast Trek on 10th September and we hope to raise awareness and funds to support people devastated by this cruel disease. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Thank you
