Story
Nessun dorma has been an old friend of mine! I cannot say how many times I've sung this aria in my career so far but it always gets an emotional reaction. So, I thought it was a good piece to use for my re-working, given the current Corona virus pandemic we all now face as a human race. The new Italian libretto was written with the help of Google Translate (!) and then sense checked by the wonderful Matteo Dalle Fratte so thanks to him! (Apologies to Puccini, Adami & Simoni for doing this to your treasured aria but I'm sure you'd understand, that it is done with love and support for people who need help). I hope you all enjoy it.
If it made you smile, please do share it on your social media platforms but also consider donating to this very worthy cause;

Last year, food banks in our network provided more than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. More than half a million of these went to children. It’s not right that people can’t afford the basics. With your help, we can help end the need for food banks.As a nation, we expect no one should be left hungry or destitute. Illness, disability, family breakdown or the loss of a job can happen to any of us. With your help #ThisCanChange
As shelves empty and times get ever harder during this crisis, those people who struggle to feed themselves and/or their dependents/families will need help the most. More information here;

Hopefully, this performance might give people a smile and perhaps some hope! The human spirit is an amazing thing. If we're kind to each other and support society as a whole, I'm sure we will get through this!
