Story
Amongst this global pandemic where the UK has been one of the most affected areas, we recognise the importance of our countries key workers. From delivery drivers to school teachers we are incredibly grateful for all the work you have continued to do despite the chaos and the risk.
As the number of Covid-19 cases rockets hospitals become overcrowded and there is only so much the NHS can do when they are limited on money and supply. So to support the NHS we have decided to complete a 1257 mile run to commemorate and raise money for the incredible work of the NHS in the 1257 hospitals all over the UK.
Starting on Monday 20th April the girls of The University of Warwick Women's Netball Club will be using their daily exercise allowance to collectively complete 1257 miles. This will be done over 10 days and the girl will be using Strava to track their miles.
We invite you to support NHS Charities Together by donating via this page - every donation makes a difference :)
I would also like to take this time to emphasise how attentive the girls will be when it comes to abiding by the governments social distancing guidelines. We understand the significance this has to the health of us and everyone around us and will be putting in every effort possible to ensure we aren't putting ourselves or anyone else at risk of contamination.
Thank you so much for your support :),
