As a supporter of the MACC Fund and highlighting Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Kriete Group will be participating in the ‘MACC Fund Goes Over the Edge’ event taking place on September 1, 2022. The MACC Fund was founded in 1976 by Jon McGlocklin and Eddie Doucette, to raise money for childhood cancer and blood disorders research. Since inception, the MACC Fund has CONTRIBUTED over $79 million to research and has seen cure rates rise from 20% to just over 80% today. While this is excellent progress, much work remains to be done, and the MACC Fund will not rest until no child is lost to cancer or related blood disorders. The MACC Fund supports research conducted at Children's Wisconsin, the Medical College of Wisconsin, the UW Carbone Cancer Center, and the Marshfield Clinic.Every donation, large or small, makes a significant impact on the lives of kids battling cancer and related blood disorders.
