In memory of my dear friend Rob Dalzell, I am joining a group of colleagues to show my respect and raise money for the BHF by taking part in the London to Paris cycle event.

It is seldom in life that one makes the acquaintance and friendship of an individual endowed with the unique human qualities I discovered through knowing Rob.  Rob died very suddenly of a heart related problem on New Year's day this year, leaving behind five children and family.  As you can imagine, this came as a great shock to all that knew him.  Rob's nick name was Razzle... and this speaks for itself - he was incredibly charismatic and filled with zest for life. Everyone who knew Razz found his energy and zeal infectious and uplifting. He was always such compelling company, with his acute mind and offbeat sense of humour.  He was not only full of surprises, but found the most unusual solutions to life's challenges.  It seems so cruel to have had him taken from us at such a young age, but I know that Razz will live on in our hearts forever.  I feel not only fortunate to have had our paths cross in this life as we know it, but honoured; a friendship that will endure forever.

Please help me raise funds for this incredible cause. Every seven minutes someone dies from a heart attack / related matter and the heart foundation need funds to help fight against heart disease.
