Sadly and unexpectedly, this March we lost our colleague and friend Jason Reese, our Regius Professor of Engineering. Jason was a brilliant engineer achieving so much in such a short amount of time.  

We are a group of his Edinburgh Engineering colleagues and students and we want to celebrate his long standing achievements taking an initiative from his kindness in supporting and helping people achieving their potential. 

We are taking part in Edinburgh's Marathon Festival and fundraise to support the creation of a prize in his name to be awarded to the best Engineering student across all our School's Disciplines every year. We hope that this will just be the beginning and depending on funding we would like to develop further student support ideas in his memory.
