In late 2013 Kirstin, our Uncommon Care team leader, came to us with a proposal.  She was looking for volunteers to participate in Maggie's Monster Bike and Hike - an epic cycling and walking adventure through 72 miles of Scottish countryside - an event which raises money for a wonderful cancer charity, Maggie's Centres. There's more information about Maggie's on the right-hand side, but put simply, they support, council and nurture people with cancer and their families.

We got caught up in the excitement of the event and the "UNK Monsters" were born.  The team is Kirstin, Jane (Kirstin's sister), Bridget, Paul, Ruairidh and Mark. 

So in early May, the UNK Monsters will be cycling and hiking their way along the Great Glen Way.  Please help us reach our fundraising goal and help support people with cancer and their loved ones.
