We provide mental health training to help people look after their wellbeing

Story

On 5 July 2011, eight students from University College, Oxford, under the banner of the famous annual Gentlemen's VIII, 'Univ X', will row 110 miles to London to raise money for Rape Crisis and the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust. The distance of the row is the equivalent of four marathons, and as rowing is by no means the fastest of sports, this might take a while...

The Charlie Waller Memorial Trust provides free depression training to health professionals, school staff, students and the general public. This charity aims to reduce the stigma that is attached to seeking help and to promote mental well being in general.

In case the charities weren't reason enough to support, Jack Roxburgh has promised to get an 'undercut' or"similarly highly alternative haircut" for the row. Photos will be posted.

Any and all contributions to these fantastic charities are greatly appreciated; please support us!

Many thanks,
Univ X
