Story

On Saturday 5th of December, an intrepid crew of WDCFC's independent supporters' group will be walking a roughly 27 mile loop of south and east Manchester, stopping at each of the grounds of teams in our league. We had originally planned to walk the same distance to an away fixture in Sandbach, however due to tier restrictions this is no longer possible, so we'll do the next best thing! Oscar is a great kid and a huge fan of West, so we're very proud to be taking on this walk to raise funds for this life-changing operation, and while the target is almost hit, there's more to be done!

We will be aiming to make it back to Brookburn Road for 3pm, when the spectatorless away fixture will kick off, but we will be there in spirit.

In addition to the South Manchester march, chairman of the Union 1908 Leeds branch, Barca Jim, will be trekking 10 miles on foot from his home to Headingly Cricket Ground, then on to Elland Road.

Do it for Oscar! Come on West!
