Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
As a club we’ve come together to raise money and awareness for the Rugby Football Union Injured Players Foundation, a charity we hold close to our hearts here at Sussex as past member of the club was a recipient of the fantastic work they do in supporting those who suffer life changing injuries playing the game we love. Our relationship with the charity is something that we are incredibly proud of having raised over £23,000 since 2015 and our ongoing commitment to doing what we can to assist the charity in its endeavours is firmly engrained in the fabric of the club.
This year we look to take on the half-marathon for a 4th consecutive year, only this time we are looking to go bigger and better. From a target of £4,000 and 20 runners in 2016, this year we are a cohort of 60 looking to raise £12,000 for this great cause. This is going to be no easy feat and of course we will need your support in order to achieve this goal.
We will be running various fundraisers throughout the year, both in the lead up to, and after the Half-Marathon on the 24th February 2019. Whether by donation, attending our events or simply by wishing us well, all support, no matter the form it may come in, will be met with our deepest gratitude.
Please like our Facebook page for any and all information on
the events we will be putting on as we begin our journey on the road to
£12,000.
