Having now completed the 2022 London Marathon, I am now the official World Record Holder as the Fastest Mythical Creature! The Unicorn has galloped through the streets of London, being cheered all the way by amazing crowds. 

I could also count on my support crew, my wonderful wife Katie and my 2 older children Léo and Amélie. The youngest one, Annabelle, stayed at home but was watching TV, looking out for Daddy wearing his "Ucorn" outfit, whilst wearing her Unicorn Onesie.  

The 4 Alzheimer's Reseach UK Cheering Points were also a great boost to keep up the pace ! 

The official Guinness judges have now approved the record, having shaved off 32 minutes from the previous Mythical Creature! 

What an experience! And on top of that, I have smashed my fundraising target which means that it will also be my Personal Best when it comes to fundraising for ARUK! Many thanks for your incredible donations and feel free to circulate this link to whoever might feel generous with the Fastest Mythical Creature!

Ayant maintenant terminé le marathon de Londres 2022, je suis maintenant le détenteur officiel du record du monde de la créature mythique la plus rapide ! La Licorne a galopé dans les rues de Londres, acclamée par des foules incroyables.

Je pouvais également compter sur mon équipe de soutien, ma merveilleuse épouse Katie et mes 2 enfants aînés Léo et Amélie. La plus jeune, Annabelle, est restée à la maison mais regardait la télévision, guettant papa portant sa tenue "Ucorne", tout en portant sa tunique de Licorne.

Les 4 Cheering Points d'Alzheimer's Research UK ont également été un formidable coup de pouce pour tenir le rythme !

Les juges officiels du Guinness ont maintenant approuvé le record, ayant gagné 32 minutes sur la créature mythologique précédente !

Quelle expérience! Et en plus de cela, j'ai dépassé mon objectif de collecte de fonds, ce qui signifie que ce sera également mon record personnel en matière de collecte de fonds pour ARUK ! Un grand merci pour vos dons incroyables et n'hésitez pas à faire circuler ce lien à quiconque pourrait se sentir généreux avec la créature mythologique 
la plus rapide !

I am very excited to be attempting a WORLD RECORD..... The fastest marathon dressed as a Mythical Creature... 

You are going to ask why ? Why not.... Having run London Marathon several times over the years, having completed it once dressed as a Ninja Turtle.... I absolutely love the support from the crowd. So why not combining the running experience whilst fundraising for a great cause...

If you see a Unicorn on a practice ride ahead of the Big Day in October, you are not dreaming... You might not recognise the runner under the mask, but be sure that I will be sweating whilst struggling to see through my nostrils.... 

Having lost my Dad from Alzheimer's Disease, I would like to do what I can to help funding research work... Feel free to make any donations - even very small amount as it will help a great cause!

Vous allez vous demander pourquoi ? Pourquoi pas... Ayant couru le marathon de Londres plusieurs fois au fil des ans, l'ayant terminé une fois déguisé en tortue ninja... J'adore le soutien de la foule. Alors pourquoi ne pas combiner l'expérience de course à pied tout en collectant des fonds pour une grande cause...

Si vous voyez une licorne lors d'une balade d'entraînement avant le grand jour d'octobre, vous ne rêvez pas... Vous ne reconnaîtrez peut-être pas le coureur sous le masque, mais soyez sûr que je transpirerai tout en luttant pour voir à travers mes naseaux ...

Ayant perdu mon père de la maladie d'Alzheimer, je voudrais faire ce que je peux pour aider à financer des travaux de recherche... N'hésitez pas à faire des dons - même detrès petits montants car cela aidera une grande cause !
