Mollies Miracle is raising money for Ataxia UK

Uncle Andrew takes the chop · 31 October 2020

10,500 people in the UK have ataxia which is a progressive neurological condition that disrupts the messages sent from our brains to our muscles that are used to move, speak, listen and see. Ataxia UK funds research into finding treatments and a cure and provide support until they are found.

Story

On the 19th December 2020 Andrew (Flukey) will be taking the scissors to his beloved ponytail - to those of you that know him, this is a very big deal - he hasn’t been seen without it for over 30 years!

This is in aid of a charity close to our hearts Ataxia Uk, as Andrews beautiful niece Mollie has the rare neurological disorder that affects her balance and coordination. Ataxia is usually a progressive disease affecting the bodies mobility, speech and fine motor skills- we desperately need to raise money for research as there is currently no treatment or cure - this breaks our hearts.
