Kitty surprised us all when she arrived at 26 weeks and 6 days, after a frightening ambulance journey, arriving in The NMH felt safe. We felt surrounded by people who were focused on our care and furthering the services that they provide on every level with such a passion. 

After spending a week at The NMH in and out of the labour ward, trying to hold off, Kitty arrived despite our best efforts at 2lbs, 2oz. From there, through the 71 days of ups and downs, the care of every single member of staff in The NMH was incredible. I continue to be floored by how massively heroic and special the team there are. 

Anyone who knows us, knows we love our creamy pints and tasty wines when we get the chance :) and so we wanted to find a way to honour the healthy life that was given to us by The NMH by doing One Year No Booze from June 1st 2022 - June 1st 2023 in an effort to repay The NMH in some small way for everything they have done for us. Thank you to everyone in The NMH for everything.
