My family and I will for the seventh year join those brave souls with generous hearts who intend to wrap up warm, defy the wintry chills and don their best walking shoes to take on a 5 mile challenge in London's Hyde Park, to provide relief for some of the UK’s most vulnerable families this winter. 

Help us to raise £1000 to protect single mothers, children growing up without fathers, and elderly parents isolated from their communities on our doorstep this winter.

Helping Households Under Great Stress (HHUGS) is the only registered charity that exists to provide financial, emotional, and practical support and advice to Muslim households impacted by counter-terrorism, national security and extremism-related laws, policies and procedures, in the UK and abroad.

With fuel poverty blighting 2.5 million households in the UK, many of which have primary breadwinners in work, HHUGS families don’t stand a chance. Some have no income at all, and have likely had their assets confiscated. Burdened by debts and often even facing eviction, they struggle to survive on the bare minimum.
