Community Closet Provides Essential Clothing Items to Patients in Need at UMass Memorial Medical Center

It is truly heartwarming to hear statements from our caregivers who are able to provide clothing from our Community Closet to patients who are preparing to be discharged from the hospital. 

Community Closet supports our patients by supplying them with the basic clothing items they may need as they transition from our care back to the care of the larger community. This is just one of the many ways that UMass Memorial Medical Center continues to value and respect the people we care for.

Your donation will purchase clothing essentials such as socks, underwear, T-shirts and sweat pants for patients as they leave the hospital setting. Regardless of the dollar value, every donation is meaningful and will truly make a difference.
