Story

You can help by donating towards the Umeed Partnership to spur me onwards and complete the challenge of 40 races!!

Umeed Offers support and help to projects in Pakistan offering education to women and girls in multi-faith centres.  Offering education in this way will grow a new generation of people understanding of cultural differences.  Visit the website to see some of the success stories of Umeed.

To raise much needed funds in support of these projects I'm running Forty races this year.  Forty @ 40!!

Next up:  The June triple... Snowdon Twilight on Friday evening, 5k ParkRun at Conwy on Saturday, Rhyl Half Marathon on Sunday

Highlight races in the year include:
Snowdon Race / Ras Y Wyddfa
Twilight Snowdon Race
Moel Eilio
Bwlch Maesgwm
Snowdonia Marathon
Man v's Mountain
Excalibur Marathon

------------------------------------------------------------------

In 2012 I ran my first ever Marathon at the end of October in a time of 4:12.
Not just any old marathon, but the Snowdonia Marathon, a gruelling 26.2miles of hills and valleys, (with fantastic views of course!) This was also the first ever race i'd run since

But this was not the end.  The next year I pledged to run the Snowdon Race.  July 2013 was a roasting hot Saturday, but I finished in just under 2hrs.  Then once again the Marathon in October.
