Right now there is no cure for muscular dystrophy, a group of diseases which cause muscles all over the body to progressively waste away from birth. By the time they’re 10 years old, kids with MD- who should be out there running and jumping around- are often confined to a wheelchair for life. I’ll be running the Oxford 10k on May 11th for those who can’t.
