The children visiting our farms spend a day or a week in wellies enjoying all sorts of new countryside experiences and on Welly Wednesday we invite you, your workplace or your school to do the same and help support our farm activities!

Story

WELLY WEDNESDAY - 9 FEBRUARY 2022 Put your wellies on for fun and fundraising! Wear your wellies at home, to work, in school, out for a walk or create your own welly themed fundraiser. Help more children to make memorable footprints in the countryside with an inspirational week-in-wellies on the farm. Give it some welly this February.

About the charity

Founded in 1976 by children’s author Michael Morpurgo and his wife Clare, our three farms welcome 3000 children and young people from underserved communities each year, helping them to step outside of their daily lives, learn new skills, grow in confidence and be braver, stronger and more resilient.
