Hello I'm Tyler Marney and I'm 8 years old. I would like to tell you why I have chosen to raise money for Diabetes UK.

A few months ago my Dad had to go into hospital because he was very poorly. The doctor said he had type 1 diabetes and had to have insulin every single day for the rest of his life. This made me feel really sad and scared because I didn't really know what diabetes was. So for my dad and everyone else that has diabetes I'm going to do a long walk on 6th August from my house, around Canvey sea wall, past Canvey football ground through the high street and town, down the lake to go back home.
