Story
10 staff across The Wine Society are doing the 3 National Peaks challenge in June and raising money for three charities, one of them being Stevenage Community Trust.
Sadie Calderon, Simon Gatley, Dave Collins, Mike Green, Lesley Clark, Ben Briffett, Mahesh Bharwaney, Nicky Glennon, Carl Andrew and Peter Harris are the ones to take on this challenge with Ewan Murray and Tom Wain being our support team (and drivers!).
On the 24th June at 5pm we shall begin the highest of the mountains, Ben Nevis. After an overnight drive to Cumbria, we shall start the steepest mountain, Scafell Pike at sunrise. Then lastly Snowdon later that day - completing all three within 24 hours.
Why Stevenage Community Trust?
Stevenage Community Trust is an independent charitable trust, which raises funds and promotes charitable giving in order to enhance the quality of life of people living in the borough of Stevenage and its surrounding villages.
The Wine Society is based in Stevenage and we want to support a local charity.
