Story
Firstly. Thankyou for taking the time to take a look at my fundraising page.
This year i am raising money for Leukemia and Lymphoma research who research all different types of Blood Cancer.
In early 2013 my girlfriends little sister Emma (in the pictures) was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, commonly known as non-hodgkin's Lymphoma which was a huge shock and extremely scary time for an 18 year old - Emma was treated at university college of London Hospital where she undertook 6 sessions of chemotherapy over a 7 months period. Thankfully Emmas treatment is finished and she can get back to enjoying life again :) She is currently of traveling around Asia/Australia and New Zealand.
We are all thankful for the people behind leukemia and lymphoma research who will have developed the different types of Chemotherapy and methods of treating this terrible disease and i hope the money i raise can help them continue with this research to help others beat Cancer.
Last year I took part in Blenheim Triathlon, which was my first ever Triathlon. I really enjoyed it and so this year I have decided to sign up to two more Triathlons over a 2 month(ish) period.
On the 8th of June I will be returning to take part in the Blenheim Triathlon, which takes place in the grounds of Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire.
On the 2nd of August I will be taking part in the London Triathlon which takes place around Royal Victoria Docks and down the river Thames.
The Distances for each of the Triathlon’s are the same, 750m Open Water Swim, 20km Bike, 5k Run.
If you can spare some money towards this cause both myself, Emma and our family know it would mean so much for other people going through similar situations.
Training starts now!
Thanks for your support.
