Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
To mark my 40th, on June 17th 2010..... I'd like your help to reach my target. All you have to do is donate just TWO POUNDS. Why's my 40th so special? Because I have Cystic Fibrosis and the average life expectancy is still just 31. I'm lucky to be here. This unique charity is a reminder to me and others though, that you don't have to be ill to have your life cut short.
Rosie-May was murdered when she was just ten years old. A year later, another continent, many died when the Tsunami hit. Rosies parents were there and witnessed first hand the devastation caused to thousands. They returned to help and the Rosie May Home idea was born. It is almost ready to be lived in and I am honoured to be sponsoring a child there (maybe you could too??).
Graham and Mary could have fallen apart, and who would have blamed them if they did? Instead they did this, in their daughters memory. I'm sure you'll agree that was a pretty amazing thing to do. So PLEASE, help me to help them.
See www.rosie-may.com for more information and please help me to support this wonderful venture.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rosie May Memorial Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now and give me another reason to stay well for .... at least another month !!
