Twiss Green's Unicef Soccer Aid Challenge 2023 page

Soccer Aid Schools Challenge · 14 May 2023 to 19 May 2023 ·
As a UNICEF Rights Respecting School, Twiss Green recognises that every child has the right to education (Article 28) and the right to relax and play (Article 31).
We want to get the whole school moving during our 'Healthy Lives week' and help children everywhere to grow up happy, healthy and able to play. Just like children should.
Our challenge is simple. Each year group will design an obstacle course to take on together, raising money to help UNICEF’s work for children around the world. We will dribble, kick or bounce a ball, sprint, skip or hop across the playground and help kids have the playtimes they deserve.
Why are we taking part?
Soccer Aid for UNICEF helps children around the world to get the best start in life. Being able to play when we’re young affects how we think, learn, share and explore the world as we grow older. Sadly around the world disease, hunger, conflict, poverty and disaster are disrupting play for millions of kids. But Soccer Aid for UNICEF supports children in those situations to get back to the play-filled childhoods they deserve. By taking part Twiss Green can change the lives of children around the world.
Please contribute any sponsorship money here (online donations can be from just £2 upwards) and all the money raised will go directly to UNICEF. We understand that not all families will be able to contribute at this time and please be assured that all children will be able to take part in the challenge.
