Story
This year our Sixth Form Charity is the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. This is a charity that is very dear to our hearts and one that we have been keen to raise a great deal of money for. On Tuesday 31st March we were due to hold our annual Sixth Form Charity fun run. This is always a great event that sees students and staff dressed up and running to raise money. This was set to be our last big fundraising activity. After some initial disappointment, we have come to the conclusion that a bit of social distancing or quarantine should not stop us. In fact, we have decided to make the event even bigger and better by opening it up to the whole school community (and their families).
The plan is that at 10.30am on Tuesday 31 March all TWGSB students (and staff) will put on a fancy dress and perform the dance move, ‘The two step’ for a duration of two minutes to the song ‘Pump it up’ by Endor. They will then send in a photo of short video of themselves and we will compile this into a wonderful feel good video showing our school community pulling together to do something positive. We would greatly appreciate it if you would make a contribution to our fundraising via this site.
