'Breathe With Me' is an awareness song about the challenges of living with cystic fibrosis.  A song with a message about understanding and relating to what others might be going through.

'Breathe With Me' is the campaign song for the 'Strawfie Challenge' - A campaign that asks the general public to try breathing through a paper (or eco-friendly) straw while pinching their nose, to gain an insight into how it feels to have to breathe through restricted airways.

WHY TAKE THE STRAWFIE CHALLENGE?The action of breathing through a straw, while pinching your nose, emulates the daily struggle to breathe experienced by people living with cystic fibrosis. If you post a photo taking the Strawfie Challenge and ask your friends/family to try the challenge, you will be helping to raise awareness about cystic fibrosis. Perhaps you can share some facts about the disease.

HOW TO TAKE PART:

• Take a selfie of yourself breathing through a straw with your nose pinched and post online (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/blogs) with a comment about how it made you feel to breathe in such a restricted way.
• Make a Donation in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust (Donations optional) https://www.justgiving.com/TWF-breathewithme/ 

• Nominate 3 friends to try the Strawfie Challenge

All proceeds from online sales of 'Breathe With Me' will be donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Cystic fibrosis is a life-shortening genetic condition - only half live to celebrate their 40th birthday.  It causes the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, to become clogged with thick sticky mucus, resulting in chronic infections and inflammation of the lungs.
