Story
I have decided to take part in this years race for life and run, well maybe jog to raise money for cancer research and in memory or my gorgeous mum.
But rather than just do the normal race, I thought I would join my sister and take part in the muddy obstacle one instead.
As many of you know, my mum died of cancer (brain tumours) in October 2007 and there is not a day that goes by when she is not on my mind and in my heart.
Sadly we can not bring my mum back but if I can help someone else to not have to go through the pain that me and my family did by doing this race then why not.
I know mum will be looking down on me pushing me to the end as well as having my sister there who will be running by my side (and throwing mud at me).
I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
