March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month. Teal is the colour that represents ovarian cancer.

I was diagnosed with Stage 3A ovarian cancer in April 2019 and I have been supported by the charity, Target Ovarian Cancer. My objective is to ensure that everyone in my home town of Harpenden is aware of the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Let's Turn The Town Teal to raise awareness and get people talking.

My Activity

Come and see me at the following locations:

Tuesday 15th March - Harpenden Leisure Centre

Friday 18th March - Co-op Store, Southdown

Saturday 19th March - Concourse, Harpenden High Street where we will have teal cup cakes donated by local Bakers, Simmons. My friend will also be raising awareness with her unique and vibrant tote bags.

I will also be holding a talk at the local WI on Thursday 17th March.

My home street will be turning teal on Sunday 20th & Monday 21st March. Come for your walk by Alzey Gardens and see the street transformed. Read the posters and talk about the symptoms of ovarian cancer.
