Story
Yes, it's crazy, but it's true! After completing Mt. Kilimanjaro three years ago, myself and a group of friends have decided to trek the Mera Peak, the highest trekking peak in Nepal (which is part of the Everest Region). We will be walking between 4-10 hours per day over 20 days, and it will take us up to 6,476m above sea level so this is not just a walk in the park.
This trip is entirely self funded but as it's such a huge challenge I have decided to raise some money for Kingston Hospital Charity - Princess Alexandra Wing fund so we can purchase mobile air cooling and purifying units for our patient treatment rooms.
It may sound strange, but as we are located in a rather old part of the hospital with no access to air conditioning and our treatment rooms get rather hot in summer which means we are currently limited to desk fan usage only. If I could raise £800 this will enable us to purchase mobile air cooling and purifying units for the department. This not only benefits the patients while they receive treatment but also the staff treating them.
Anything you can do to help will be very much appreciated.
