Story

Thanks for visiting the Tuesday's Child team fundraising page.

Tuesday's Child are running in the Belfast City Marathon to raise funds for children in Gaza.  The traditional marathon distance of 26 miles is just one mile longer than the Gaza strip. Imagine the impact of 100 tonnes of bombes landing along a marathon route...this is what happened on 27th December 2008 - the first day of the horrific Operation Cast Lead - and the children had nowhere to run too.

Thousands of little lives have been completely shattered by this war. A total of 319 children died and many others are injured and adjusting to life without limbs and with head injuries, blindness and phosphorus burns. Thousands more are terribly traumatised. Many are homeless and starving.

So please sponsor us now and help a child today! It costs £4 to feed a child for one week in Gaza.
