Story
At Shipley Salvation Army, we have supported local people with a diverse array of issues during Covid-19 - keeping homes warm, food in the cupboards, supporting the local school uniform bank to continue their services, dropping off self-isolation family activity packages and continuing our family support work online, in the market place and over the phone. Plus much more!! This week we are delivering almost 100 Easter eggs to local families ❤
We are currently looking at how we can continue to support our community post-lockdown - this may involve extra costs such as new equipment for our toddler group as we look at expanding our sessions, children's outdoor equipment, outdoor seating for all ages, and possible improvements to the building to enable us to carry out all our activities, including our recent news of welcoming the Shipley Area School Uniform Bank as part of our community programme.
We are grateful for any funds you are able to donate towards helping us continue to carry out our work in this community - thank you for your ongoing support!
Twenty four hours a day, every day of the year. The Salvation Army provide care and support to people in need. In fact it's what we've done for over 150 years. It is what we continue to do today and it's what we will go on doing whenever and wherever there is injustice and pain in the world.
