Horsham Corps

Local Community Support · 1 November 2020 to 31 December 2022 ·
Horsham Salvation Army works throughout the year to provide practical spiritual care and support to people in need. We've done it for over 130 years. Now, through our Hope In community programme, we work with all sorts of people in need - whether it's an individual facing a crisis, a family in need of a bit more long-term support, or someone forced to sleep rough on the streets, we seek to bring hope by putting our faith into action and giving the support we can.
The call to support members of our local community through the provision of food parcels and other assistance for families and individuals in need never goes away, as well as providing rough sleeper equipment for those on the streets. It's your generous giving that helps this happen.
After a period when we were pretty much able to carry on our work based only on the food donations we received in to the church, we're now having to spend around £700 per month on food to ensure that we can continue to support those who come to us for help. You're support is needed more than ever to help us meet the need. Thank you for what you can do.
It might seem along way off, but we work all through the year to ensure we have what we need to give out at Christmas time as the demand for our support increases greatly then and it's you who help us meet the need presented to us. Thank you for your giving to support this all.
God bless.
