Story

GREAT NEWS!! New event date is scheduled for Saturday 17th April 2021.

**SEE UPDATE**  Unfortunately due to the Newport being in local lockdown the organisers have had no option other than to postpose the event. The new date for this event is Saturday 27th February 2021. Thankfully, this gives me more time to raise even more money for this fantastic charity and more time to mentally prepare myself :)

On Saturday 3rd October I will be climbing 287 steps up the transporter bridge before abseiling 54 metres (178 feet) to the car park to raise money for St Davids Hospice Care.

I would be forever grateful if you could donate any spare money to help support this amazing charity.

Hospice care offers reassurance of round-the-clock expert care, in a friendly, welcoming environment for those who are living through a life limiting illness. From managing someone's pain, to looking after their emotional, spiritual and social needs, hospice care supports the whole person, helping them to live their life to the full.
