Fundraising for Eastside
The Morph Men are back! Five years on, we are reviving the epic Try-Art-Lon challenge to raise valuable funds for Eastside – a charity committed to delivering creative and cultural learning opportunities for children living in communities where the arts are often remote and inaccessible.
We will be squeezing back into our morph suits to revisit our favourite parts of London, as we swim, cycle and run our way around the capital in aid of this fantastic cause.
Day 1: a 5km swim at London Fields Lido – one km for each of the five national partners of our first national project, 'I know I wish I will', launching in September. (www.knowwishwill.com)
Day 2: a 170km bike ride around all 33 London boroughs, representing the city-wide reach of Eastside’s activities and focus.
Day 3: a 25km run, to represent Eastside's 25-year history of delivering creative and cultural arts programmes that transform lives.
Since launching in 1994, Eastside has delivered over 100,000 hours of incredible programmes to enrich the lives of thousands of young people in London. This money being raised in September will help to ensure this wonderful legacy continues.
The Try-Art-Lon team comprises James Peterson (Eastside chair), Charlie Betts and Jamie Ritchie. They will be joined at different stages by Matt Lane (Eastside CEO & Artistic Director), Felix Andrew (Eastside General Manager) and Ed Ryder.
All funds raised will be split equally across the causes listed above. Your help and support is deeply appreciated. Thank you for giving and helping Eastside change the lives of thousands of young people.
